Last updated: April 1, 2026This policy covers all Android applications published by tech.tresbien ("our apps"). Your privacy matters to us. Here is how our apps handle your data.
Audio recordings: Our apps record audio clips around detected noise events using your device's microphone. These recordings are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any recorded audio data.
Noise measurements: Sound level readings (dBA) and session metadata are stored in a local database on your device.
Crash reports: Our apps use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports. These reports contain technical information (stack traces, device model, OS version) but no audio data, measurement data, or personally identifiable information.
Usage analytics: Our apps use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as feature usage and session duration. Firebase Analytics collects your device's advertising identifier for analytics and attribution purposes. No audio, measurement, or other personally identifiable data is included. You can disable analytics in the app's Settings.
All audio recordings and measurement data are stored locally on your device. Data is not backed up to cloud services. Some apps offer optional export features (SMB network export, ZIP file export) — these are entirely under your control and no data is sent to our servers.
Our apps require microphone access to measure sound levels and record audio clips of noise events. The microphone is only active during monitoring sessions that you start. Audio is processed on-device and never leaves your device unless you manually export it.
Some of our apps display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. The app itself does not share personal data with advertisers.
Our apps use internet access for these purposes only:
No audio, measurement, or personal data is transmitted over the internet.
Our apps automatically scramble speech content in recordings. This destroys intelligible words while preserving noise characteristics, so recordings cannot be used to eavesdrop on conversations.
You can delete all data at any time from within each app's Settings. Uninstalling an app removes all locally stored data.
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
